The picture was the subject of the rejected cease-and-desist declaration by Tod Singerman, the manager of the band Motorhead (Kilmister Trust), to the Hamburg Regional Court and subsequently to the Hamburg Higher Regional Court against crown cap art. "Motorhead” withdraws application before hearing at the OLG
The Hamburg law firm “Gutsch und Schlegel” (for Global Merchandising Services Ltd.) withdrew its application for an interim injunction against crown cap art from August 2023 at the Hamburg Higher Regional Court one day before the appeal hearing on April 15, 2024. The hearing scheduled for April 16, 2024 was canceled by the responsible judge and the appeal was therefore successful for Kronkorkenkunst.
